Monaco Grand Prix Weather: What to Expect and What to Wear
Early June generally brings pleasant Mediterranean weather to Monaco — but a few precautions will help you make the most of a full day on a terrace.

Pleasant but changeable through the day
In June, Monaco typically sees afternoon highs around 23-24°C (73-75°F) and morning/evening lows around 16-17°C (61-63°F), with roughly 10 hours of sunshine a day on average. The gap between early morning and mid-afternoon can still be noticeable on an open-air terrace, which is why layering is worth planning for.
A small but real chance of rain
June averages only a handful of rainy days across the whole month, usually brief showers rather than washed-out days. Our terraces are covered, which protects against both sun and a passing shower without ever interrupting the day.
What to wear
The right outfit for a private terrace at the Grand Prix sits between elegant and smart-casual: a light dress or short-sleeved shirt, flowing trousers or tailored shorts, and a light jacket for the cooler evening. Many guests add a touch of colour or a summery print, very much in the spirit of the Riviera.
Don't forget footwear and sun protection
Monaco's streets are steep and cobbled in places, and part of the journey between your accommodation and your terrace is often done on foot due to weekend traffic restrictions. Comfortable yet elegant shoes are preferable to very thin heels. For sun protection, a cap or light hat and sunglasses are strongly recommended for long hours outdoors, even under a covered terrace.
