Getting to the Monaco Grand Prix
Transport from Nice airport, accommodation in Monaco or nearby, visa and currency: the practical points to plan ahead of your trip for the Grand Prix.
Airport and transport
The nearest airport is Nice Côte d'Azur (NCE), about 30 minutes from Monaco by car, helicopter or shuttle. Monaco is also accessible by train from Nice in under 30 minutes.
Accommodation
Accommodation in Monaco and the surrounding area (Nice, Menton, Cap-d'Ail) sells out several months before the Grand Prix weekend. We recommend booking your accommodation as soon as your travel dates are set, independently of your terrace booking.
Visa and entry requirements
Monaco has an open border with France and in practice applies Schengen area entry rules. Most nationals of the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States do not need a visa for a short tourist stay, but requirements vary by nationality: we recommend checking the requirements for your passport before booking.
Currency
All prices are quoted and invoiced in euros (€). Payment is made by bank transfer or card according to the terms communicated after your request is confirmed.
